A Parkinson-kór felismerése összetett feladat, amit a neurológus orvos több teszt, szemrevételezés és gyógyszerezés alapján állapít meg. A betegség tünetei megjelenhetnek a beszédben is, ami így kívánatos biomarker lehet a diagnózis felállításában. A hallgató feladata, hogy irodalomkutatást végezzen a beszéd augmentációs technikáinak témakörében, majd alkalmazza őket egészségesektől és Parkinson-kóros személyektől származó beszédfelvételeken, majd vizsgálja meg ennek hatását a felismerésre. Recognising Parkinson's disease is a complex task. The neurologist doctor will diagnose the patient based on a series of tests, examinations, and medication. Symptoms of the disease may also be reflected in speech, which can be a desirable biomarker for diagnosis. The student will be asked to conduct a literature study on speech augmentation techniques, apply them to speech recordings from healthy individuals and from individuals with PD, and then investigate the effect on recognition.
